The method

The four stages every set goes through, in that order, and the specification behind each one. Nothing below is a claim without its reason.

Stage 1 of 4

Analyse

Natural lash density, diameter and condition. Growth direction and gaps. Orbital anatomy: lid space, brow bone, hooding, the asymmetry between your two eyes. Lifestyle and skin.

Growth phase mix: a lash line is never all one phase
Canthal tilt, lid space, crease height, hooding

Contraindications and the patch-test policy

Design

Zones, a length gradient, curl by growth angle, diameter by the strength of the lash beneath. Effects are layers on top. Your map is kept on file and reproduced or evolved at every fill.

Engineer

Fibre and diameter set the load. Adhesive cures with moisture, so humidity and temperature are controlled in the room. One natural lash, one extension, no stickies, placed 0.5–1 mm from the skin.

Humidity 45–60 %, temperature 20–24 °C at the bed (confirm)
Adhesive drop replaced every 15–30 minutes
Isolation under magnification; no lash bonded to another
Fans made by hand at the bed; hospital-grade sterilisation

Preserve

A daily cleanse, no oils at the lash line, and a fill every two to three weeks. Lash health is checked at every fill and the weight adjusted. We downgrade a set before we damage a lash.

Materials

Seven curls, six diameters. The curl sets the lift; the diameter sets the weight the natural lash has to carry.

Adhesive

Ethyl cyanoacrylate cures with moisture. Humidity is the clock, placement is the craft, and the formula is chosen for your eyes.

The atelier's standard ethyl-cyanoacrylate for volume work.
