Lash lift and tint · Downtown Toronto
A lash lift curls your own lashes upward from the root, so they look longer and the eye looks more open. Nothing is added to them. It takes 75 minutes at our atelier on Wellington Street West and lasts six to eight weeks.

Lash lifts at the atelier
How much does a lash lift cost in Toronto?
At Beautiatelier a lash lift is $90 and a lash lift with tint is $100. A Korean lash lift costs the same and takes 15 minutes longer. Every lift includes a keratin conditioning step, and the consultation before your first visit is free.
Across Toronto, salons that publish a price charge between $65 and $150 for a lash lift, and most sit between $100 and $130 (nine salons' price lists, read on 4 October 2026).
Prices are before tax. You pay at the atelier by cash, e-transfer, or credit or debit card.
How long does a lash lift take?
75 minutes for a lash lift and 90 for a Korean lash lift, with or without the tint. Your eyes are closed the whole time, and most clients rest. Lash lifts at the atelier are done by Brynne Lee, the lead artist.
- 1The shieldWe look at your lashes and choose a silicone shield. A small shield gives a tighter curl, a larger one a softer lift.
- 2The lifting lotionYour lashes are laid flat on the shield and a lotion softens the bonds inside each lash. It is timed to the thickness of your lashes.
- 3The setting lotionA second lotion fixes the lashes in their new shape.
- 4The tint, if you want itA tint darkens the lashes at the same visit.
- 5ConditioningA keratin step conditions the lashes before you leave.
How long does a lash lift last?
Six to eight weeks. A lift does not wash out: it fades as the lifted lashes shed and new, straight ones grow in. Book the next one when the curl has dropped, not before.
Is a lash lift good for your lashes, and what are the risks?
A lash lift is the same chemistry as a hair perm, on a fibre about ten millimetres long. A lotion opens the sulphur bonds that hold the lash in its shape, the lash is set on the shield, and a second lotion joins most of those bonds again in the new shape.
What that does to a lash over years has never been measured. On scalp hair, a perm leaves the fibre weaker. No study has tested lashes, or repeated lifts. So we will not tell you a lift is harmless, and we will not quote a safe gap between lifts.
What we do: we lift only lashes that are healthy enough for it, we time the lotion to your lashes, and we do not lift lashes that are still curled from the last visit. In Canada these lotions are for professional use only and limited to 11 percent thioglycolic acid at pH 9.5 or lower. We work inside those limits. A patch test is free if you want one.
The usual failure is over-processing: the lotion left on too long for the lash, which leaves lashes over-curled or frizzy until they grow out.
Is a lash lift worth it?
It depends on the lashes you have. A lift works with them: it curls and opens, and it cannot add length or density.
A lash lift suits
- Lashes that are reasonably long but straight or growing downward
- Anyone who wants nothing to maintain between visits
- Anyone who wants to stop curling their lashes or wearing mascara every day
It does not suit
- Short or sparse lashes: extensions on a light map do more
- Lashes still curled from the last lift
- Lashes that are thinning or damaged: we will tell you at the consultation
How do I prepare for my appointment?
Come with clean lashes: no mascara or eyeliner, and no oil-based products around the eyes that morning. Take contact lenses out. If you have reacted to a lash lift or tint before, book a free patch test 48 hours ahead. Arrive five minutes early: there is no waiting room, so we start on time.
Lash lift aftercare
A lift needs very little. The first 12 hours matter most.
First 12 hours
- Keep them dry: no water, steam, swimming, sauna or hot yoga
- No eye makeup
- No oil-based products on the lashes
After that
- Wash your lashes as normal
- Brush them upward each morning
- Mascara is fine: non-waterproof, removed with an oil-free product
Korean, keratin, LVL and Yumi lash lifts
The names describe products or variants, not different treatments. A keratin lift adds a keratin conditioning step, which every lift here includes. A Korean lash lift uses a flatter shield for a softer, straighter lift from the root. LVL and Yumi are brand names for lift systems. We choose the shield and the timing for your lashes at the consultation.
Who will do my lashes?
Brynne Lee, the founder and lead artist, or one of the two artists she trained. Brynne is a five-time certified eyelash artist, twice certified in makeup, and an accredited trainer and educator, with more than eight years in the industry.
Danica and Nazanin bring years of experience and professional training, and both are trained in-house on the Beautiatelier protocol. Their work is checked against it every day, at every appointment, with feedback and a quality check. You can ask for an artist when you book.
I hadn't had a good experience with lash lifts before but decided to give it another go at Beautiatelier. Best decision ever. I'm obsessed with the way my lashes lifted and how beautiful they are.
I have naturally long and heavy lashes, which made me a bit apprehensive about whether they would lift. Previous experiences at other places had been inconsistent. However, Brynne did an exceptional job! My lashes lifted beautifully, exceeding my expectations.
Amazing lash lift every time! Super talented, professional, and detail-oriented. My lashes always look flawless and last forever.
I got a lash lift this last Tuesday and I love it. I've never gotten any beauty treatment done besides nails and waxing. This is a win!
This was my first professional lash lift, and it was such an awesome and comfortable experience!

More questions before you book
Can I wear mascara after a lash lift?
After the first 12 hours, yes. Use a non-waterproof mascara and remove it with an oil-free product. With a tint, many clients stop wearing mascara.
Does a lash lift work on short lashes?
A lift curls the lashes you have. It cannot add length, so on very short lashes the change is small. We will tell you at the consultation if extensions on a light map would do more.
How often can I get a lash lift?
When the last one has grown out, usually after six to eight weeks. We do not lift lashes that are still curled from the last visit.
Do I need a patch test?
It is free if you want one. If you have had a reaction before, book it 48 hours ahead.
