Lash extension removal · Downtown Toronto
We take lash extensions off with a cream remover that dissolves the adhesive, so each extension slides off without pulling. It takes 30 to 45 minutes at our atelier on Wellington Street West and ends with a look at your natural lashes. Sets from other salons are welcome.

Natural lashes, no extensions.
How are lash extensions removed?
With a professional remover, not with force. The adhesive is dissolved and the extensions slide off. Your eyes stay closed throughout.
- 1ProtectYour lower lashes are covered before anything is applied.
- 2DissolveA cream remover is placed on the bonds. Cream stays where it is put, which makes it the gentlest choice near the eye.
- 3Slide offWhen the adhesive has dissolved, each extension slides off its natural lash. Nothing is pulled.
- 4Cleanse and lookYour lashes are cleansed, and we look at them and tell you what we see.
How much does lash extension removal cost in Toronto?
At Beautiatelier a removal is from $30 and takes 30 to 45 minutes.
Across Toronto, salons that publish a price charge $25 to $30, and one charges $60 for sets applied elsewhere (four salons' price lists, read on 4 October 2026).
If your lids itch or swell after a set we applied, message us first: we remove it for free.
Can I remove lash extensions at home?
We advise against it. Picking or pulling extensions off takes natural lashes with them. If you cannot come in, leave the set alone: each extension sheds with its natural lash, and the set thins out on its own over the following weeks.
Do lashes grow back after extensions?
Yes. Lashes regrow on their own cycle, which takes a few months from start to finish. The kindest plan for lashes that need a rest is a gentle daily cleanse, then a light set or a lash lift while they recover. We will tell you which after the removal.
When should lash extensions be removed?
You do not need a removal between refills: a refill takes off the grown-out extensions as part of the visit.
A removal makes sense
- Before a break from extensions
- Before a new set, when the old work is not safe to refill
- When lashes are stuck together or the set feels heavy
- If your lids itch or swell after a set: contact us, and see a pharmacist or doctor
Do you remove sets from other salons?
Yes. We assess the set first, and the assessment is free. If the work is safe and you want to keep wearing lashes, we can refill it to a new map. If it is not, we remove it and start again.
Went there to remove a set done poorly by someone else. She was very thorough and made sure I was comfortable throughout my entire visit.
she gave me the exact style I was looking for (without damaging my natural lashes, and the retention is great!)
Reasonably priced, good retention and lashes stay healthy.
